Mini Farmers
Sustainability is at the heart of our philosophy, and mini farmers provides the opportunities for children to learn about the natural world through caring for their chickens, guinea pig, rabbit, fish and frogs.
This Program teaches children about nurturing as well as responsibility. The children enjoy feeding and nurturing their chickens, guinea pig, fish, rabbit and frogs. Children are able to share experiences, learn new words, observe life cycles and learn the needs of animals. Through this experience, children enjoy collecting the eggs and then making a delicious treat such as muffins and omelettes.
This program creates opportunities for children to learn and observe with all of their senses, providing a vocabulary for children to better understand their observations. Mini farmers creates opportunities for children to learn and talk about their natural and physical world.
