Preschool is a time when your child’s world grows exponentially… through new influences, exposure to a broader range of people and ideas, and a greater perspective of the world around them. It’s exciting watching them expand their horizons.
They now require additional capabilities that prepare them not only for school, but for life. Critical thinking, problem solving and creativity are now seen as essential learning dispositions and the new basis for 21st century learning. Our innovative preschool program is based on the most current research, and offers a comprehensive curriculum for 3 to 6 year olds that ensures the best possible preparation for school and life. The program is integrated across the day and led by university degree qualified Teacher. It’s a play-based program, with children participating in regular small group activities.
A typical preschool day is broken up into specific sessions of structured teacher led learning as well as opportunities for children to initiate their own play. Educational learning is planned from daily observations, children’s individual interests and families’ input. Through choice, challenge and practice, they will continue to develop independent life skills, and grow in self-confidence and self-identity.
